This game is fun with other people as it makes things go a little faster. I’d recommend reading a guide your first time just so it’s a little easier and you can figure out what you need to do. It’s challenging and requires a little bit of grinding, but I don’t mind it (too much).
You have to continue to grow trees in order to get supplies to continue on to complete challenges. This modpacks starts you off in the middle of the sky on a single block with a tree. While this is originally from AT Launcher, you can still get it on TL (though I think there are newer versions on AT). So if you like vanilla Minecraft and Pokémon, this is the perfect combination. You get one starter Pokémon and can have up to six with you at a time, much like the Pokémon games.
Creating the pokeballs is a little time consuming, but it isn’t too bad. While it isn’t much more than original Minecraft but with Pokémon, I still love it. That and the map system is super cool since you can mark places on it and teleport to your marks.īeing the Pokémon nerd that I am, I love this modpack. Plus, I really like being able to turn into a bat and fly around everywhere. I’ve played this modpack a ton of times and I still haven’t messed with all the mods, so there’s always a ton to try out and do. Crayfish’s Furniture Mod, Food Plus, Biomes O’ Plenty and especially Tinker’s construct. I really love the Carpenter’s blocks, Chisel, Mr. This modpack is great for survival mode adventures and when you want to just build stuff.
(If you need help figuring out how to use modpacks and such, let me know and I’ll try to help out!) The launcher I use most is Technic Launcher, so today I thought I’d share which 3 modpacks off this launcher are my favorite and why. That was when my brother introduced me to Minecraft modpacks and I fell in love with the game again. Towards the top-right of technic launcher you’ll see a button called “Launcher Options”.
Pixelmon is a rather resource-heavy mod so you’ll have to tweak some settings in Technic Launcher to keep Pixelmon from slowing down and crashing your game.
Once logged in, you’ll be met with the following screen (if you were able to complete the steps properly). This is where you’ll log in to your Minecraft: Java Edition account.
